After one-week priority registration for returning members, Nepean Basketball is pleased to open public registration for 2024-25.

Fees and Programs

Program registration fees, tryout fees and competitive team fees are unchanged from the 2023-24 season, see Registration Fees, including links to information about each program, and the year(s) of birth for each program category.

How to Register

There are separate registration forms for the Development Program, Recreational Program, and Competitive Tryouts. See Registration Forms for registration links plus information on how to register and pay.

A player being registered is the “participant” in a registration form. Enter the player’s name and other information in Step 1 (Participant Info), enter parent information in Step 2. Registration is based on gender and age; when registering, you will be presented only with the program or competitive tryout that corresponds to a player’s gender and year of birth.

Financial assistance for registration fees is available, see Financial Assistance for more information. As part of this process and new for this season, the NBBA will use discount codes to credit financial assistance towards fees paid at registration.

Registration is not considered complete and your spot is not secured/guaranteed until registration fees are PAID IN FULL.

Competitive Tryouts

The NBBA initially intends to offer one competitive tryout team at each age level. Two age levels may be combined as needed depending on numbers. We will add additional teams if there is demand, coaches, and gym space. Participation in the competitive program requires a high level of commitment from players and parents.

If you are registering a player for a competitive try-out, you may also want to register and pay for the corresponding Development or Recreational program to hold a spot if the player does not make the competitive team. If the player does make the competitive team, the difference in fees will be owing.

Waitlists

Development and Recreational programs have registration caps, and registering with payment secures a spot. Please select the waitlist option if a program is full; spots are held by competitive players and will open after tryouts are complete. We will do our best to accommodate everyone, but being on a waitlist does NOT secure a spot in a program.

Other Information

Subject to confirmation of our gym permits, Development and Recreational programs will start on Saturday Sept. 21, with times and locations TBA.

2024-25 Competitive tryouts for AAA+ teams will be held during the last week of August; other tryouts will be held September 7-15. Details will be posted on the NBBA website and sent by email at a later date.

New and returning coaches should see the Volunteer page and fill out the Coaching Volunteer Form for 2024-25.

Registration for the junior referee and scorekeeping programs will follow soon.

Thank you, we look forward to seeing you on the courts in September!!
